CRCares is a 501(c)(3) public charity created to support our local community who encounter sudden hardships, local churches and faith based organizations to assist people in need and help them grow closer to God. A hardship is defined as a difficult circumstance that a person or family cannot handle without outside help. The charity is the heart of the CR culture.
At CR Cares, our mission is simple — to help people in need, the right way.
We believe true generosity doesn’t end with a one-time handout. Real help gives people the tools, structure, and accountability they need to move forward and create lasting change.
That’s why we don’t give money directly to individuals. Instead, we partner with trusted organizations that specialize in walking with people through hard seasons — whether they’re single parents struggling with rent, families trying to rebuild after loss, or individuals working to get back on their feet.
These partner organizations do more than write checks. They:
Meet personally with each person in need
Review their finances and spending habits
Help them find jobs or stable income
Provide financial coaching and proven programs like Dave Ramsey’s plan
Create long-term strategies to prevent recurring hardship
We’ve learned that this kind of structure changes lives. It ensures funds are used wisely, handled properly, and truly make an impact.
In rare situations — like natural disasters, fires, or emergencies that are completely out of someone’s control — CR Cares may step in directly to cover immediate needs such as temporary housing or essentials.
If you know an organization making a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you. You can apply to have a charity added to our approved list, as long as it aligns with our mission of helping people — not just funding operations.

CR 10 for 10 program
We want to partner with you to help the causes that you are most passionate about. When you close a home with us, you can choose from one of 10 different charities, that we will give 10% of our profit directly to that cause. You get to choose.
Homeless
We are passionate about partnering with local organizations who provide food, clothing, shelter, and medical care to those in need, right in our backyard.
Urgent Need
Our board of directors will
assess the needs of churches and charities, & allocate the donation to the organization that has the most pressing needs at the time.
Foster Care
We love to partner with local organizations and and ministries who raise support and awareness for children in need of foster care.
Beyond Borders
We partner with Compassion International, who has helped meet the physical needs of over 1.9 million children in extreme poverty all over the world.
Employee Emergency Fund
Here at Canzell Realty we care about our employees, so we have established a fund to help any employee who finds themselves in emergency need.
Various Churches
Churches play a crucial part in meeting spiritual and physical needs of our local communities, and we are passionate about partnering with them to change lives, both inside and out.
Pregnancy Centers
Crisis Pregnancy Centers support families and individuals who are in crisis- related pregnancies by offering real help for the present, hope for the future, and healing from
the past.
YoungLife
Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship.
Christmas Child
A project of Samaritan's Purse International, Operation Christmas Child has delivered 157 million gift-filled shoeboxes to boys and girls in need around the world

We work with dozens of local charities and organizations to meet physical needs of the widows, orphans, homeless and disabled, by meeting them right where they are.
OUR MISSION

Helping Local Churches and charities that help people in Need or helping them grow closer to God.

To help CR Associates and their immediate family with hardships as a result of a sudden emergency.
Major Disaster — Home Fire — lost clothes, personal belongings.
Major Medical Needs — When you are out of work for an extended period of time and need help to sustain and pay for housing, utilities, etc. This would be a car accident with major injuries, a heart attack or other illness that keeps your from work, cancer treatments, this would help towards rent, utilities, and other bills for living expenses or medical treatments.
Family Funeral cost where the family did not have enough to pay for the funeral.
Medical needs for immediate family — Husband, Mom, Dad, Kids go through something mentioned above and you might need to be out of work for a long period of time, unable to sustain due to medical cost from cancer, major illness. This would help towards rent, utilities and other bills for living expenses or medical treatments.
CRCares is truly a nonprofit and has limitations to what it can contribute to remain a non-profit and stay within these guidelines. See our guidelines below for support.
Characteristics of a CRCares Donation
It is a one-time donation, except as special circumstances may dictate
Required supporting documentation includes filling out the below online donation request including
— Letter summarizing the situation and the financial hardship created by it
— The amount of the donation requested
— Proof of hardship – Bank statements, copies of bills for medical (or other) and/or living expenses which has been incurred as a result of the situation
— Signed physician’s statement (if this is a medical situation)
— If the applicant has health insurance, please provide a summary of all claims from the insurance provider indicating the patient’s responsibility for the charges
